Modern Relationship Rules

Modern Relationship Rules

Building   positive relationships is the most sought after desire for today's society. Good relationships are at the forefront for feeling confident about life and future plans to succeed. Good relationships provide the support and love necessary for a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.

Many people do not understand the dynamics of building and sustaining positive relationships in modern day society. To develop the relationship that meets today's standards three components must be mastered. All relationships need communication, compromise, and cherish.

3 Cs of Relationships

Rule #1- Effective communication
According to habitsforwellbeing.com, "the ability to communicate effectively is an essential skill in today's world" (www.habitsforwellbeing.com). Communication is not just what is being said during the conversation. It also involves listening to the needs of others.

Rule #2- The Art of Compromise
Compromising does not mean giving up what you want to satisfy the need of another. A good relationship involves give and take. Each person must give up something in return to receiving the opportunity to keep the thing they desire.

Rule #3- Cherish every aspect whether good or bad
Love for better or worst. Adore your loved one. Yes, there will be characteristics and behaviors that you  yourself would never think of having but embrace those differences. Show appreciation and cherish the flaws and the favorites.

If you do not want your relationship to be in ruins, you have to follow the rules. Connect with your friends, family, or flames with a modern touch of direction.

When the New Year is Old News

When the New Year is Old News

Happy New Year! It’s a rejoicing moment when you know that the new year is a time to begin new things. But guess what, that tradition of making new year’s resolutions is so OLD. Why do you have to wait for the new year to start transforming your life?
Every day, every week, every month should be your opportunity to evaluate yourself and your life to make adjustments that are needed for success and happiness. The truth of the matter is if you wait for several months until New Year to get it together, it will be so far- fetched that it will take a lot of strength and effort to get on track. That’s why New Year’s resolutions fail. You have waited too long to decide to make a change.
Stop waiting for a New Year to transition into a new life. Here are some steps to make regular tune ups of yourself and your life versus waiting several months to begin.

KEY #1: GOALS ARE GOLDEN
Short term goals ultimately lead to the accomplishment of long term goals. Don’t wait for the New Year to have your golden moment. Make every day, every week, and every month phenomenal.

KEY #2: NO PLAN= NO PROGRESS
Plan and schedule weekly evaluations on your progress towards your goals. In order to stay on track with any goal or resolution, it’s important to regularly look at one’s self and life to determine what and how to move forward.

KEY #3: ADJUSTMENTS
Make it a routine part of life to make the necessary adjustments. No one said change was easy, fast or simple. If you commit to making change a normal behavior in your life, it will soon become effortless.

OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH A NEW LIFE needs to be a reoccurring them throughout your daily interactions. If you are stuck with the old and desire a new way of thinking about yourself and your life, PLEASE contact GinMan Consulting for an initial assessment.

Things Failure Can Teach Us About Life

Things Failure Can Teach Us About Life

Are you afraid to fail? When you are afraid to fail, you unintentionally block yourself from success. Without failure, you will never know what you are doing wrong to do what is right. Without failure, you will never know the glory of overcoming defeat.

People run from failure because of these three classical myths about failure:

MYTH #1:
If my results are not the same as someone else, I’m a failure.
#The goal of being different is collaboration for a greater purpose.
#Embrace your uniqueness.
#The things that make you different will make you successful.

MYTH #2:
If I don’t make a lot of money off it, I’m a failure.
#Success is not measured by money but by how many lives you positively impact and the money will come effortlessly.
#Success is measured through helping others & yourself lead happier & productive lives which does not always equal money.

MYTH #3:
If I don’t keep the timeline of my goals I set, I am a failure.
#Taking more time on something means you are giving it more attention to be better.
#It’s too important to rush through.
#Another priority came up that temporarily needs more attention.
