Train Your Anxiety with Mindfulness Activities

Train Your Anxiety with Mindfulness Activities

Are you having a rough anxious day? You can put strategies in place to train those anxious moments. Mindfulness activities are great for managing the worry, fear and doubts that have your mind frazzled.

Sometimes you can be sitting around and nowhere out of the blue negative thoughts start popping into your mind. These thoughts lead to overthinking about what you cannot do or feelings of being undervalued

#1 Do you Notice your mind becoming anxious for no reason?

Solution: Disrupt negative worries fears and doubts by taking a big yawn and stretch for 10 seconds...You will Notice how a yawn interrupts your thoughts and feelings.

#2 Does your anxiety have you overthinking?

Solution: Be kind to your mindfulness. Stop letting your mind tell you what you cannot do. Say I will.... I am... I can ...

#3 Anxiety have you feeling like “blah”?

Solution: Just ask yourself this question: What is my deep burning aspiration for my life? Pause for about 20 seconds. Do this a second or third time and write down what comes to your mind.

After you write down your aspiration, read it every day until it becomes your new thought.

Don’t let anxiety take over your day, week, or life! Take control by training your anxiety to leave you alone.

To Grieve or Not to Grieve What is the Problem

To Grieve or Not to Grieve

What is the Problem

If you need to grieve the loss of a loved one, pet, job or any other element that left your life abruptly, by all means, do what’s best for you. Often, you feel like you are supposed to hold in your feelings of angersadnesshappiness, or acceptance. The stages of grief are unpredictable and individualized. Step #1 is to be familiar with the different ways grief can and will affect you, your life and others who support you.

Here are some normal but unusual reactions to grief:

#1 You CAN cry

Express your grief over a precious person, pet, item, or event in the way that you need to. The objective is to get any feelings and emotions out that will hold you back from moving forward in life.

#2 You CAN be happy

Once again if you want to celebrate the transition of what you lost, GO AHEAD! Everyone grieves differently. Being happy doesn’t mean you loved any less than you do.

#3 You CAN move forward with ease

Being stuck is another symptom that grief can cause. Whatever and however long you need to process your life and what you need is your choice. Don’t be forced to move through your grief without setting realistic expectations for your next phase of life.

The stages of grief and how you should be reacting can be tricky.
