Train Your Anxiety with Mindfulness Activities
Are you having a rough anxious
day? You can put strategies in place to train those anxious moments.
Mindfulness activities are great for managing the worry, fear and doubts that
have your mind frazzled.
Sometimes
you can be sitting around and nowhere out of the blue negative thoughts start
popping into your mind. These thoughts lead to overthinking about
what you cannot do or feelings of being undervalued.
#1 Do you Notice your mind becoming anxious for no reason?
Solution: Disrupt negative
worries fears and doubts by taking a big yawn and stretch for 10 seconds...You
will Notice how a yawn interrupts your thoughts and feelings.
#2 Does your anxiety have you overthinking?
Solution: Be kind to your
mindfulness. Stop letting your mind tell you what you cannot do. Say I will....
I am... I can ...
#3 Anxiety have you feeling like “blah”?
Solution: Just ask yourself
this question: What is my deep burning aspiration for my life? Pause for about
20 seconds. Do this a second or third time and write down what comes to your
mind.
After
you write down your aspiration, read it every day until it becomes your new
thought.
Don’t
let anxiety take over your day, week, or life! Take control by training your
anxiety to leave you alone.
